Sarah Nieburg, LCSW serves as the CCO of Atlantic Behavioral Specialists LLC. She is a therapist, strategist, and global mental health advocate whose career blends clinical expertise with humanitarian impact.

A graduate of Randolph-Macon College and Virginia Commonwealth University, Sarah has worked across therapy, crisis response, refugee support, and international service. Her experience includes service with the U.S. Peace Corps in Guinea and work with the International Rescue Committee during the Afghan evacuation response.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sarah specializes in trauma-informed care, refugee and migrant mental health, domestic violence recovery, and ADHD-related executive functioning challenges. She is trained in EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, narrative therapy, and psychological first aid.
