Kimberly Sale, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC through convenient telehealth services. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Kimberly has worked across a variety of treatment settings, helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth.

Kimberly is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, emotions, and goals. She believes that effective therapy is highly individualized and takes a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that is tailored to each person's unique needs and circumstances.

Drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Kimberly helps clients develop practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and build the skills necessary to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

Kimberly has extensive experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, addiction, relationship challenges, work-related stress, mood disorders, anger management concerns, psychosis, and major life transitions. She is also experienced in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, women's issues, peer relationship challenges, and marital concerns.

Kimberly provides therapy services for adolescents and adults ages 14 and older, with a primary focus on adults. Her collaborative and compassionate approach empowers clients to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create lasting, positive change.

Outside of her clinical practice, Kimberly enjoys running, hiking, traveling, playing board games, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her two dogs.
