A graduate of Randolph-Macon College (BA International Studies, 2015) and Virginia Commonwealth University (MSW, 2022), Sarah has built a career at the intersection of therapy, crisis response, and international service. She served as a Public Health Educator with the U.S. Peace Corps in Guinea, designed and managed the award-winning Playing for Peace program in Ghana, and worked with the International Rescue Committee during the 2021 Afghan evacuation—providing intensive case management to families navigating crisis and displacement.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sarah specializes in working with migrants, refugees, first-generation Americans, and individuals with complex PTSD. Her clinical expertise also extends to survivors of domestic violence and individuals navigating ADHD and related executive functioning challenges. She is trained in EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, narrative therapy, and psychological first aid. In Beyond her clinical practice, she has presented research on refugee family dynamics, coordinated gender empowerment and health capacity-building programs in West Africa, and contributed to community coalitions advancing mental health access for underserved populations.

Sarah joins Atlantic Behavioral Specialists LLC with Dr. Charles A. Dadoo in advancing a shared vision: to expand access to comprehensive, people-first behavioral health services. Together, they are committed to integrating evidence-based treatments, innovative care models, and culturally responsive practices into a network that meets today’s needs while anticipating tomorrow’s challenges. Atlantic Behavioral Specialists LLC aims to serve individuals and families across diverse communities—offering therapy, ADHD support, trauma recovery, domestic violence services, medication management, and wellness programs under one coordinated system of care.

Outside of her professional work, Sarah is a traveler, soccer player, writer, and lifelong learner. Whether in Virginia or abroad, she remains committed to advancing mental health equity and creating spaces where individuals and communities can heal, grow, and thrive."
